Dear parents and caregivers of Oxley State School,

Welcome back to a new year at our great school.

With the first day approaching it is important that we let parents know about entering to school. This is particularly important for the Book Drop Off in these new restrictions.

This advice is of Monday 18th January 2021- This advice can change quickly and parents are asked to be stay informed via our school communication sites.

Our school operates under 'COVID normal'  conditions, and parents and carers are welcome on state school sites and asked to support our school to stay safe.

Book Drop Off

Book Drop Off is designed for parents to ease the burden of the first day deliveries of schoolbooks and especially for families with multiple students or students having to carry large boxes by themselves.

Our Book Drop Off starts this Tuesday afternoon 3:00-4:00 and we ask parents to follow these guidelines:

  1. When entering our school grounds please use the hand sanitiser as supplied at each gate entrance
  2.  Maintain social distancing at all times
  3. Wear a mask when entering school grounds and especially in classrooms –Current restrictions do apply
  4.  Be aware of the number of people in the classroom and follow the advice of the classroom teacher or staff member in regards entry and social distancing.
  5. Adults must limit gathering at drop-off and pick-up time, in the car park, outside classrooms and at the school gate.
