New Roof for A Block
Today, the 10th June, 2024 we are closing the top level of A Block due to a new roof installation. This has been a long time coming. We understand the short notice and appreciate the opportunity to gain a new roof to complete this building. Only the classes in this building will be relocated during this time.
Roof Removal process
- The block will be closed from Week 9 so other classes accessing these rooms will make alternate arrangements.
- Minimal Desks and belongings for the 2 week disruption will be moved 8th June by professional company – this is being co-ordinated by our Business Manager
- iPads cupboards will be relocated to another safe location
- This replacement will continue and finish over the holidays- hence the start now rather than beginning of Term 3 for 5 weeks.
- Any Asbestos removal will take place over weekends
NEW LOCATION OF CLASSES
- 3 /4TL will be moving to the empty Prep room
- 3/ 4AD will be moving to G block- next to Chloe Wu
- 3 /4OB will be moving to F block - next to 5/6TC
STAFF PARKING /PARENT PARKING
Parking will be disrupted soon as fencing is erected between A and B block and into the carpark near the end of A block. This will limit staff parking for this time. This will impact on car parking in Bannerman St so please make the most of the drop off in Colwell St.
What do parents need to do?- Be excited about the facility upgrade – whilst it is a bit of change it will be great once it is completed
- Understand that books may come home over the next couple of weeks to keep them safely at home during the transition
- Re-stock any stationery supplies required for your child over this time – in preparation for Term 3
